Tycroes make the short journey to near neighbours Pontarddulais in National 2 West this afternoon (KO 2:30pm)

This, the first fixture of 2017 sees Tycroes make 5 changes from the side that defeated Mumbles 13-19 before the festive break.

Connor Walters makes his first appearance at Hooker, Captain Dean Bromham makes a return to the side at Outside Half, forming a new halfback pairing with Justin James.

Both sides enter this game in good form, 6th place Tycroes will be looking for a 5th consecutive win, whilst league leaders Pontarddulais have won 8 out of their last 9 league encounters. Pontarddulais beat Tycroes 6-26 at Cae Gelli back in October, Tycroes last defeat. The Black and Ambers will be looking to record a league double over Tycroes, a feat not achieved since way back in 2009.Tycroes team to play Pontarddulais on Saturday 7th January, Kick Off 2:30pm.
