Team to play Loughor

Tycroes travel to Loughor in Specsavers National Two West tomorrow afternoon (Kick Off 2:30pm) Our last fixture before the Christmas festivities get under way.

Tycroes have won 3 out of their 7 league fixtures so far this season, Loughor, 3 places below Tycroes have won 3 out of their 10 league fixtures in comparison. Just 4 points separate the two sides in 2 West.

Tycroes Rugby were beaten 17-14 in Pontyberem last weekend. Loughor beat Milford Haven 14-10 in Specsavers 2 West.

Loughor recorded a narrow 10-14 success against Tycroes at Cae Gelli in the opening match of this season back in September & will be looking to record a first league double with another win at Villa Field tomorrow afternoon.

Whilst we’re talking ‘doubles’ The Cae Gelli side claimed both results between the two last season, winning 20-3 at home in March and 17-23 at the Blues home ground back in October 2018.

Tycroes make 6 changes from the team narrowly beaten by Pontyberem last weekend.

Captain Luc Rees continues at fullback with Ben Thomas & Dan Thomas on the wings. Dean Bromham reverts to his more accustomed outside half position and partners the returning Aled James.

3 changes up front see Callum Davies start at lock replacing Tim Rees. Sion James moves to openside with Sam Icke given a start at blindside flanker. Dylan Cooper moves across the scrum to tight head with Luke Stratford coming in at loose head. Hugh Conway continues at hooker.

Tycroes team to play Loughor on Saturday 14th December - Kick Off 2:30pm.
