On Saturday 11th November 2017 friends, family and the Tycroes/Amman Valley communities will be taking part in a charity walk from Carreg Cennen Castle to Tycroes RFC (8 miles)

Following the walk there will be hot food  and refreshments provided! 

THE AIM: 

Our aim is to show our support whilst raising funds for additional, potentially life-saving private cancer treatment for our good friend Nathen Amin’s wife, Kate who was diagnosed with bowel cancer and secondary liver cancer earlier this year.

Unfortunately the NHS do not provide the treatment as they don’t find it cost effective enough for mass distribution. 
The treatment Kate has received thus far has  not had the effect that everyone was hoping for. With the additional cancer drug, Avastin, we really hope that there will be an improvement in Kate’s condition. 

ENTERTAINMENT: 
Wales v Australia will KO at 5.15pm and be shown on multiple screens in the club.
P'tcheaow! will then takeover where we will sing and dance the night away. The band have really done us a huge favour and I hope we can all repay that favour by turning up in our masses and giving them a gig to remember.

RAFFLE/AUCTION:

There will also be a Raffle/auction taking place where we hope to raise additional funds for Kate’s cancer treatment.
A massive thank you to all those who have provided prizes for us and to all those who will be taking part in the walk. 

We have been amazed by the community spirit and togetherness shown over the past few weeks. It’s been truly uplifting and inspiring.
