Tycroes welcome league leaders Dunvant in Division One West this afternoon (KO 2:30pm)

Good news, Cae Gelli passed the early morning pitch inspection and today's game is ON.

Dunvant make their first ever league visit to Tycroes RFC and Cae Gelli this afternoon with both sides looking to get back to winning ways.

Both sides will be looking to kick off 2018 with a win following last weekend’s defeats.

Tycroes lost a close encounter 24-20 away to Llangennech last Saturday whilst today’s visitors were beaten 12-21 at home to Gorseinon on Boxing Day.

Tycroes currently sit in the relegation zone in 11th place with 12 points from 10 league fixtures. Tycroes are 6 points ahead of bottom placed Crymych who have played 2 games less.

Dunvant move into New Year with a 3 point lead over second place Felinfoel at the top of the table. The league leaders have picked up 37 points from their 11 fixtures including a 24-9 victory over Tycroes at Broadacre in Round 3 back in September.

Tycroes make 9 changes for this afternoon’s match, 4 of which are positional.

Shaun James and Deian Augustus start on the wings with Luc Rees reverting to partner Matthew Lemon in the centre. Lee Evans replaces Aled James at scrum half. The front row remains the same. 3 changes across the back row see Darryl John come in for Steffan Jones at number 8, Josh Skelding replaces Cieran Price at 7 and Sion Jones returns to complete the back row. Hooker Richie Williams leads the side.
