What a marvellous evening as Tycroes celebrated a successful 2016/17 campaign and forthcoming promotion to Welsh Rugby’s Division One West, the highest position the Club has ever achieved in its proud 106 year history. The victorious first team squad were joined by our youth side and both ends of our playing spectrum had a wonderful evening.
Players, Coaches, Sponsors, Supporters & key personnel were in attendance to celebrate the successful season. The squad justifiably enjoyed their presentation evening, safe in the knowledge they had secured 2nd place and promotion behind Champions Tenby United.
Steffan Jones was the big winner at the end-of-season awards bash.
The Number 8 walked away with the top awards on the night including the coveted Player of the Season award and also getting his teammates vote to receive the Players Player of the Year.
Scrum Half Aled James received Supporters Player of the Year.
The versatile Jamie Gimblett was voted Most Improved Player of the Season. Luke Stratford was awarded Impact Player of the Season and Darryl John scooped the Top Try Scorer award.
