Rugby is back and summer is over. As the nights draw in, a sure sign a new campaign is ready to kick off.

Tycroes start their National Division Two West season tomorrow afternoon with a home fixture against neighbours Tumble RFC (KO 2:30pm)

Tycroes have won their opening league fixture for the last 6 out of 7 seasons, slipping up away 29-15 only to Felinfoel in September 2017.

Our visitors, the Magpies finished 7th in Two West last season winning 9 out of their 22 league fixtures.

Tumble were beaten 13-11 by Tycroes on their last visit to Cae Gelli in November 2016. Tycroes completed the double against Tumble that season securing a 12-25 victory at Parc Y Mynydd Mawr in March 2017.

After a summer of coming and going, Tycroes welcome a number of new faces for tomorrows league encounter.

Openside Dan Conibeer will make his competitive debut against his former side. Conbieer lines up in a new look back row alongside Daryl John and Jordan Phillips. Zac Rees, Greg Thompson and Guto Arnold lineup in a new look front row. Outside Centre Luc Rees will Captain the side.

Tycroes team to play Tumble on Saturday 1^st September 2018, Kick Off 2:30pm.
