Team to play Loughor

Rugby is back and the summer is over. As the nights draw in, a sure sign a new campaign is ready to kick off.

Tycroes start their Specsavers National Two West season tomorrow afternoon with a home fixture against Loughor RFC (KO 2:30pm)

Tycroes have won their opening league fixture for the last 7 out of 8 seasons (88%) slipping up away 29-15 only to Felinfoel back in September 2017.

Our visitors, the Blues finished 8th in Two West last season winning 10 out of their 22 league fixtures, 1 place & 1 point ahead of Tycroes in 9th place.

Loughor were beaten 20-3 by Tycroes on their last visit to Cae Gelli in March. Tycroes completed a league double against Loughor last season securing a 17-23 victory at Villa Field in October 2018. Loughor have lost their last 8 matches and have not won since February.

After a summer of coming and going, Tycroes welcome a number of new faces for tomorrows league encounter. The Cae Gelli side hand competitive debuts to wing Dan Thomas, Openside Will Evans, Second Row Callum Davies & Hooker Hugh Conway.

Centre Matthew Lemon returns from Cwmgors and Prop Dylan Cooper from Narberth, both start. Outside Centre Luc Rees will Captain the side.

Tycroes team to play Loughor on Saturday 7th September - Kick Off 2:30pm.
