Tycroes welcome Mumbles in National 2 West this afternoon (KO 2:30pm)
Promotion chasing Tycroes will be looking to maintain their excellent recent form and extend their winning run to 14 consecutive victories.
Tycroes, playing their penultimate home game of the season could move into pole position following today’s action. Hendy who currently occupy first place entertain neighbours and fellow title hopefuls Pontarddulais this afternoon.
Hendy lead the way by the narrowest of margins (66) Tycroes are in 2nd place on 65 points with Pontarddulais 3rd on 64.
Tycroes beat Mumbles 13-19 away from home back in December and will be looking to record a league double over today’s visitors.
Mumbles have lost their last 2 league encounters and their last win away from home was a 13-38 victory against league leaders Hendy also back in December.
On this weekend 10 Years ago, Tycroes beat Llandybie 19-28 and were crowned Division 5 South West Champions, could the 2016/17 campaign culminate in further silverwear?
