Team to play Milford Haven

Tycroes host Milford Haven in Specsavers National Two West tomorrow afternoon (Kick Off 2:30pm) Our first home fixture of the New Year.

Third place Tycroes will be looking to maintain their excellent recent form and build on their 24-25 win against Fishguard & Goodwick last weekend. The ‘Mariners’ also won last weekend, they beat Kidwelly 17-34 away from home.

Fixtures between the two have been few and far between in recent seasons. Our visitors won the most recent fixture 23-19 in Milford earlier this season. Tycroes last success against Milford was a 22-5 victory at Cae Gelli back in September 2007.

Tycroes have won their last 3 league matches but have not won 4 consecutive fixtures since April 2017.

Tycroes have won 6 out of their 10 league fixtures this season. Milford Haven are in 8th position and have won 5 out of their 10 league fixtures in comparison. Just 6 points separate the two sides in 2 West.

Tycroes make 2 changes to the starting XV that beat the ‘Seagulls’ last time out.

The back division remains the same as Aled Rees Jones continues his comeback at fullback. Scott Davies partners Aled James at halfback.

The 2 changes up front see Sam Icke replace Jordan Phillips at blindside flanker and Luke Stratford make way for Dylan Cooper at loose head.
