Team to play Haverfordwest

Tycroes welcome Haverfordwest in National 2 West this afternoon (KO 2:30pm)

This afternoon’s match will bring the curtain down on the 2016/17 campaign. A season which has seen Tycroes rise to their highest point in our 106 year history – the summit of Division 2 West.

Tycroes, currently occupy first place in 2 West (70) a win today will guarantee promotion to Welsh Rugby’s Division 1. Pontarddulais are in second place on 68 points and Hendy third on 67. Tycroes will then face an anxious wait as fourth place Tenby United have 3 games left to play.

Promotion chasing Tycroes will be looking to maintain their excellent recent form and extend their winning run to 15 consecutive victories.

This team has provided us with tremendous rugby throughout the season, rugby which has been extremely exciting, entertaining and nail-bitingly good; rugby which has produced some marvellous efforts and many memorable tries.

Tycroes beat Haverfordwest 5-43 away from home last month and will be looking to record a league double over today’s visitors.

Whilst Tycroes continue to reach new heights, in stark contrast, today’s visitors the Blues remain rooted to the foot of Division 2 West. Haverfordwest have won just 2 of their league fixtures this season and have not won away from home in over a year.

Whatever happens today I'm sure all our supporters will agree that it has been an outstanding season by the boys. #ChampagneRugby #YmlaenTycroes
